What amount of insulin do pancreas produce for a normal person? Can insulim produced be known for diabetic?

I am diabetic injecting insulin and would like to know?
Can my insulin production be known? Which vegetable, herb can substitute artificial insulin (medicine). Doctors in the whole world have never come up with any medicine to enable impaired pancreas produce insulin?

A c-peptide is the test that will show you how much insulin you make naturally.
A healthy adult pancreas makes about 1 unit an hour basal, plus 3-5 units to cover meals.

There is a test to measure insulin levels- but it also needs to be known that you can have a problem absorbing insulin and or making it- so far there are no nonanimal or nonhuman artificial insulin substitutes. There is still research ongoing. D
Please tell us u r typ-1 or type-2. Then u have insulin resistance or less insulin is produced.
Next Considering ur weight and the condition of ur sugar level insulin is prescribed. without knowing this it is difficult to answer.
If you are a ‘normal’ person, then just enough isulin is produced to keep your blood sugar in the normal range… no more, no less. If you are type 1, then no insulin is produced. If you are type 2 then the amount of insulin produced isn’t all that significant, since your body has a resistance to its effects. Oddly, in many cases, too much is produced in type 2s. It still doesn’t matter. What matters most is your health… in any case. Here are some tips that will help tremendously:

I’ve found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. Some folks who became diabetic due to poor diet and obesity are effectively cured by following the advice in this book. I’m a type II (inherited), but it helps all types, especially those who became diabetic due to poor eating habits. It’s by an author who has really done his homework, Patrick Quillin, Phd. It’s called, "The Diabetes Improvement Program". I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it’s the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day. I have been off Metformin for as much as a week, but this was with vigorous exercise. Many, what I call, non-hereditary type IIs (those that don’t have a close relative who had it) have gotten off medication completely, just with diet, exercise, and supplements.
