I might be hypoglycemic. If i am will i need to get a blood glucose meter? I am NOT diabetic. But my friend is and she talks like i will need one. Also i have hand tremors. Its called Benign Essential Tremors. I can never tell if i am shaky from that or low blood sugar. Thats why i think a meter would be somethign i would have to have.

I found myself being a midwife to a 7 pound pregnant chihuahua most of the night and this morning. Don’t know who is more exausted, me or the little family member. I’m approaching a decision I must make in the next couple of hours or perhaps I’m just an over reacting father–you tell me! Here it goes…. Our little lady is approx. 60 days pregnant and she started going through her contractions last night at around 7p.m.. Her water broke at around 1am this morning and after 17 hours, we do not have any pups. Her urine is now dark and am afraid she could have a low blood sugar count. She is still in her nest and screamin of pain every few minutes. Moreover, she has had 2 littlers in the past and were all delivered within a few hours. Sooo., does anyone have any suggestions before I reach my 24 hr. mark and decide to take her to the vet? Thanks for taking the time to read this and MARRY CHRISTMAS.

my friend is not diabetic, but recently he’s been suffering from low blood sugar levels.
Should he eat even healthier than he is now, or should he do everything he can to spike his insulin?
PLEASE ANSWER he’s passed out a few times in the last week!
God Bless!

Would an ordinary "blood test" catch low blood sugar/hypoglycemia? If so, can the results regarding blood sugar be false?

My friend has Very low blood sugar levels and today she checked them about 10am and then again about 10:45 am, i’m just wondering does she need to be doing it that often? She says she has to be at 6 but what are most people really meant to be at-isn’t it between 3 and 6. She keeps saying she feels like she’s hypoing(sorry don’t know how to spell it) but i think she’s faking it cause there are no signs of a hypo.

I have noticed that my hands (fingers) shake and from research i have found that this is a symptom of low blood sugar. I am in college and it’s hard to eat well, so this is a probable cause. Will losing weight help me get back to normal???, because i have gained some weight since being here. Thanks

I only have high insulin (normal/low blood sugar) and my feet are all tingly…wondering if this is neuropathy and unclear what the qualifiers are for this diagnosis.

I’m not likely diabetic, but actually being looked at for an insulin producing tumor. As of now though, I have high insulin and low blood sugar on a regular basis. Lately I’ve been very shaky and feeling hypoglycemic with numbers nowhere in that range (over 100.)
Is there anything weird about this or a way I can control it better? Thanks!
