I did some research and I cannot find a straight answer…but I guess that high blood sugar levels increase the heart rate. I was wondering why that is…? In a short term perspective.

If I have diabetes, can I get a medical pass to cut the wait of lines. Cause I cant stand in long lines just incase of low or high blood sugar. Dont wanna be stuck in a line and not be able to get out.

My name is Kiwi, I am 15 years old.
I haven’t been a happy little camper lately.
I get roughly about 4-7 hours of sleep a day, no less than 4. I have been getting weak very easily, going to the bathroom more than usual, been very lazy. I have also been very sleepy, which I guess can fall under the lazy catergory!
I might have type 2 diabetes. It runs in my family on both sides.
But, also my eye sight I can tell has gotten a little weaker, but that is probably from me being on the computer alot!
My mom is diabetic, and she has a blood meter, but I am to scared to get pricked with a needle, yet, I am not scared to get my blood drawn by a doctor! yes, I am weird!lol! So, when I get shakey, I am not sure if it is from low or high blood sugar. Can some one who has diabetes or is a doctor, please email me!If you go to my profile you can email me from there! I am 16 years old, and have a 109 blood sugar. I have been told that 99 is the healthy level. I’m not sure if I’m tripping or not, but I’ve heard that your mouth is always sweet, and you always thirsty when you have a high blood sugar. I kinda see that in me? I am not diabetic, but can be in danger? Can you please tell me some ways that I can lower my blood sugar. By the way I exercise daily. Thanks.

I’ve been on Adderall for 3 months and I’ve notices a decline in its efficiency. I’ve been drinking a lot of coke and mountain dew this past week. Could these high blood sugar levels decrease efficiency of the Adderall?

i got 62 today on my fasting reading at 8am. I don’t test myself only once in a awhile. the background of my issue is that i got a high reading on a routine blood test (110) and then after that i got a1c tests done 6 months apart and both times they were 5.3 (normal). and then i got fasting glucose tests done and they were normal also around 92.

i have tested myself periodically to just check and make sure i’m not having any issues and it’s always been in the normal range of 70-100 so now wiith this test this morning it made me wonder if it was a mistake or if occassionally you can have a low blood sugar due to hormones, etc. (i’m just done with my period). i tested myself again 3 hours later and i was 77.
i’m not a diabetic yet but i’m trying to prevent that just in case i might have a tendency. my only high risk is that i’m part native american otherwise i have normal weight and participate in sports.
also since i had a high reading that one time – how can i get a low low reading another time? i mean aren’t you either high blood sugar or low blood sugar? i’m confused….

My grandpa often gets very high blood sugar even though he takes insulin. What would be a quick way to lower it.
And by high I mean in the 400′s.

Ive been trying for sometime now to have a child and it doesnt seem to be working out we have gone to the doc for my wife and he says she perfectly healthy. But in my case i have diabetes and didn’t wanna go to the doc i was just wondering if high blood sugar levels would affect that like lowering sperm count or something.

Hi, back in June, I had a severe panic attack in which I ended up in the ER. They did every test under the sun, and concluded it was anxiety/panic.

The only thing that was of any concern was that my blood sugar level was 196 that night in ER. No mind you….I was in the middle of a "fight or flight" wild panic attack…..and before I went to ER, I had ate 2 Banana’s and 2 Chocolate Chip granola bars.

When they sent me home, they told me to make sure I check it again….and they also had me pee in a collection bucket for the next 24 hours so they could test it.

My urine came back from the lab as perfectly normal……
And 48 hours later, I did another blood sugar test…… this one came back at 106.

My doctor just wrote off the ER level as having a lot of sugar in my system, and having a panic attack.

I have none of the risk factors for high blood sugar…..
I am 6’0, 175lbs, 7% bodyfat, workout 4 days a week….. no diabetes history or either side of my family ever known.

Since I suffer from OCD, and a Anxiety disorder….I hate to go out and start getting obsessed with blood sugar levels……. if you know me, you’d know I will buy the meter, and the test strips….IN ADDITION to having the doctors office draw blood.

What do you think?? if it were you, would you follow this up, or let it go? I don’t have any of the classic high blood sugar symptoms…..like constant hunger, thirst, or urination.

On Friday I went to the doctors and they checked me for diabetes. The reading was 4 and they told me it was normal and I didn’t have diabetes. Today I went this morning and it was 4. Then I went back home and ate a packet of chips and 2 slices of bread then they checked again and the number climbed to 7. The doctor said I have high blood sugar. Im really worried now.

My blood sugar count is in the low 300 range which i understand is quite high…i started exercising regularly recently and feel good about the results..i’m wondering if anyone out there knows if a high blood sugar count is still ok in terms of leading a long natural active and healthy life?..I’m not exactly in great shape but i’ve led a pretty athletic life in my youth till a few years ago and am now just starting to get back in shape again…since this is the first time i’ve had a blood sugar test…will my numbers go down if i continue with my exercise regimen and cut down on my sugar and sweets intake?
