I just had the 3hours test for my sugar level and my doctor said only one came out a little high and that I dont have gestational Diabetes but that I am glucose Intolerant. Does any one know what this means?

My first born was healthy, as was I. My second born was born with hypoglycemia and had to stay in the NICU for several days before I could take him home. I am now 3 1/2 months pregnant with my third. What would be the chance of me getting the gestational diabetes again?

I have to take the glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes at my next appointment. Everyone keeps telling me it tastes horrible. I have even heard of some women throwing up but the doctor says it isn’t that bad. Has the doctor ever taken this test? I doubt it. So who has taken the test and how bad was it? Any tips on getting through it without puking?

I have my gestational diabetes 1 hour test tommorow at 8 am, as well as my rhogram shot.
My OB told me not to eat past a certain time, I think it was 9 pm not sure, she said that this should help the results to be more conclusive and avoid the three hour test.
She gave me the paper to take to the hospital when I saw her 4 weeks ago and all she wrote down was "you need to go July 5th at 8 am"

I had my 28 week appointment and the midwife did a urine strip test and found glucose in my urine. I had had a cup of sugary tea and sugary cereal for breakfast in the morning. However, she did a blood test too but I won’t get the result for a few days.

My glucose fasting has been 100-107 lately and 2 hours after meals around 128-130 taken with my glucose meter. Are these normal readings? I am asking this because I had gestational diabetes but I had my baby 3 months ago and I think I still have it but I asked my doctor and he didn’t seem to care about it. Thanks

I failed my first gestational diabetes test, but passed my second one. Is it possible to have type 2 diabetes or be a prediabetic or would they have tested for that also. OR would that test indicate type 2 or prediabetes?

before i found out i was pregnant i was on lipitor and lovaza. when i found out i was pregnant i stopped taking them. went in today for my first blood glucose test for gestational diabetes.
does anyone know if having these problems while being pregnant can lead up to having gestational diabetes??!!
okay, so i’m not eating the best… i have a serious sweet tooth and yes, i eat fast food… but i try to be good about my fruits, veggies, and breakfast (cheerios). lots of yogurt and milk.

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and wondering when they usually test you for gestational diabetes? Will they even test me since no one in my family has ever had it?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and diagnosed with gestational diabetes. My doctor wants me to follow a diabetic diet and will repeat the glucose tolerance test in 2 weeks. Does anybody knows that changing to diabetic diet affect the glucose tolerance test? If yes do you think 2 weeks is enough?

I’m 31 weeks pregnant, gestational diabetes, my blood sugars since I’ve been monitoring with the special made diet have been elevated several times. My range is below 120 two hours after meals, below 95 fasting. My fasting, breakfast, & lunch ranges have all been high. I really don’t want to go on insulin but wondering if dr. will find it is best with these high readings.

the second test was high
and i knew it would be because i went looking for a restroom and could not find one – does walking a lot or a lot of movement change the results?

third test – way below standard range

fourth test – way below standard range

will i be considered having gestational diabetes?

i just want to know did i get my chances changed because of my moving around a lot?

I have a doctors appointment on Thursday ill be 23w4d, will they test for gestational diabetes then or wait till next time when ill be around 28 weeks? I’m so worried about this for some reason and I just want to know! No one has ever had it in my family & I’m not over weight or anything. I’m just worried.

I am 31 1/2 weeks pregnant and failed my 3 hour glucose test. I am controlling my blood sugar with diet, but was wondering when high blood pressure usually starts with gestational diabetes? I had high blood pressure at the end of my last pregnancy and was induced at 37 weeks. I didn’t have gestational diabetes last time though.
