Ok so sweet n low sounds to good to be true where’s the catch??? It doesnt have any calories and less than 1 carb. Is it actually healthy or is there sumthing I didnt see. For example I love water and I love iced tea, but I stick to water because I thought it was a lot more healthy than iced tea but on the tea nutrition facts it said it didnt have any calories or carbs and I use sweet n low when I drink unsweetened Iced tea. So is unsweetened iced tea just as healthy or just slighty less unhealthier than water if I use sweet n low?

Pancake syrup. All the regular stuff is, is corn syrup. The sugar free stuff is nutra-sweet and sorbitol
140 calories per cup of SF as opposed to 834 calories for regular so I know that part is good but wtf ids Sorbitol and am I really doing that much better using the sugar free?

Experts say all fruits and vegetables can be eaten in diabetes as long as you keep an eye on your blood sugar levels. What if taking blood sugar measures is difficult after every fruit intake? Are there predetermined standards available like calories count on food packages?

I was curious if there ARE really calories in Splenda.
As I understand, foods that claim no calories per serving are allowed to say that IF the actual calorie count is < or = 5 calories per serving.
I use Splenda a lot; as an example, I used about 1/3 cup on some frozen cherries, tonight.
I am trying to lose weight, but don’t want to actually sabotage my efforts, so I appreciate you taking the time to answer this question.
.
Thank you!

I’m not diabetic, but I am a medical student that has been given the task to create a diet plan which consists of 1500 calories, and to be diabetic approved.
My current calculation has given me the sum of 149.2g of sugar for the course of the day, breakfast to dinner.
Is this alright or have i gone too high?
I cannot seem to find a page of any sort saying safe daily intake on sugar for diabetics.
Much appreciated if anyone could feed me info.

I know there are chemicals in it, but it can’t make you gain weight can it? I use a lot of Splenda in my coffee because I like it really sweet, and if I used sugar it would add a lot of calories, I drink about 5 cups a day the least! I only use a little bit of super skim milk too, that adds some calories but I like it almost black.

I went to Olive Garden, and like any other restaurant, they had sugar substitutes: like splenda, and other things. They all said "serving size-one packet, calories 0"
I’ve always wondered this with things like: cans of diet coke, 0 calorie sweetener, 0 calorie tea, ext.
so my question is, are these things really 0 calories?
Is there REALLY 0 calories in these? Or is there just less than 5

Oh and I dont have a toooomer. HA!!! (toooomer)
I have been on this epilepsy treatment for partial-onset seizures, it’s a oral medication (if that matters). It does tend to make me dizzy if I don’t take it with something like salty potato chips. I would have to have something BIG for snacks like that in the middle of day if my dizziness should it ever come back again..
I am prolly being gullible but I can eat 2 enormous plates full of food in one sitting, 1 and part of another sub from Subway and I am only 100 lbs. Plus the drinks …oh dear -.-. Dont want to list the calories cause lol I think that would be to much. I think I am starting to get diabetes and it’s freaking me out.
I’m just wondering if it fine for me to take Glucerna even though I dont truly have diabetess? And if I cant what can I? cause being dizzy (what seems like all the time) is annoying.

I get sleepy about 1 1/2 hours after taking it. The headache and nausea stopped after the first 2 weeks. If I sit down anytime around one to two hours after I take it, I fall asleep. I’m not eating alot at my meals. Maybe 450-500 calories with very little carbohydrates.

I use Splenda instead of sugar for my coffee and tea.
I’m not a diabetic. I just don’t want to get the extra calories with my drinks.
