There are so many on the market. Accu check makes some really good user friendly ones. They will provide the meter at no cost and then you purchase the strips and lancets. They have a new lancet device that is a cartridge that holds 6 lancets so you don’t have to reload it each time and the needle is so tiny and you can barely feel the stick. I’ve seen and used a lot of meters but I am really impressed with theirs right now. You can probably check out their web site. Your physician will have to write a prescription for this and your strips in order for your insurance to pay. If you don’t have insurance, accu check makes a basic model that is cheaper.

There are so many types of Blood Glucose Monitoring Meters which are used to monitor the Glucose in the market and latest can be purchased as the new ones are cheap and having easy to operate and gives good results.
there are heaps, I have a lot because I get them free from the hospital, my newest is the papillon mini which has very good features. But my first bg meter is the one I still use to today which is Optium, this is really good coz it is simple and also has ketone strips whereas alot of others don’t.
