Research has shown that cinnamon may help keep the blood glucose levels steady. But please be wary as we are often not told who funds the research. If you want to try it in conjunction with the treatment your doctor has suggested then fine just try using various amounts and seeing what effect it has on your levels. I frequently use cinnamon in my cooking and have never noticed any difference to my levels to when I do not,

Boy, wouldn't it be nice if it were that easy? It might be a tiny factor but just isn't going to control glucose levels at any amount.

It doesn't battle it completely but does help out, blood tests and shots will still have to be maintained, any cinnamon will due you just want to make sure its the real thing. The bark cinnamon would work best, but grind it up yourself in a coffee grinder. My bf has diabetes and when I cook I try to use cinnamon in as many dishes as I can.
