How can I gain weight by healthy means if I have blood sugar issues?

I am underweight for my height and it causes all sorts of irksome winter time ailments, like getting sores on my limbs from being too cold. However I also have blood sugar issues where if I eat things high in carbohydrates or sugar I get dizzy and feel sick. I have found that eating a lot of tree nuts helps me maintain somewhat of a healthy weight. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

When you say you have "blood sugar issues," does this mean you’re diabetic? If so, are you a type I or type II diabetic? What is your age? Do you have any food allergies? Any other health issues?
These are only a few of the questions which come to mind. Please consult with your doctor. You haven’t provided enough information for anybody here to help you.
God bless you. Stay warm.
