Folic acid – blood test – what do you think this means. I'm being tested for peripheral neuropathy?
My blood test came out as: Folic acid >20.0 and my Vit B12 came out as 454. What do you think this means?
I know this is a tough question. Just thought there may be some lab techs or docs out there who post. Thanks!

periperhal neuropathy = pain and numbness in your hands and feet. The pain typically is described as tingling or burning, while the loss of sensation often is compared to the feeling of wearing a thin stocking or glove. ideally if u smoke &/or drink alcohol u should stop as such habits decrease blood flow ro nerves!folic acid increase d ‘strength’ in your blood therefore more circulation:)
