Today my IVF clinic took a blood test to see if I’ve ovulated, in order to start my next IVF cycle. Later they told me I had ovulated and I’m ready to start this cycle but I wondered would that blood test have revealed if I was possibly pregnant? Or are they only testing for ovulation and progesterone levels so wouldn’t look to see if HCG was in the blood?

I have some in date blood glucose testing strips for meters and I no longer use the meters so have no need for them. They are available to buy in shops so I know it is legal to sell them however I’m not sure if I can sell them when I got them free on prescription because I get free prescriptions. Does anyone know whether it is legal or not for me to sell them because I have no need for them any more and need to get rid of them somehow. Thanks
I mean in the UK under the NHS and an answer more than no would be good as I would quite like to know why otherwise your answer is useless to me
Right, I shall add, I am unaware of any free clinics in the UK, they are all free. I no longer receive them as I had them taken off my prescription (for obvious reasons) and I know it is legal for me to sell them, the bit I wanted to know was whether I could sell them when I got them for free. I KNOW I can legally sell them without a license. I do not require answers that are not based on UK law, but thanks for wasting your time

well i’m 14, and not entirly sure whats wrong with me, if anything. Latley i have been feeling strange when i eat sweet foods, and im not sure if i am just neing paranoid, i cant remember how i came arross the conclusion of diabetes, because i didn’t know any of the symptoms/signs. But after reading about it i have come to realise my breath has a slight smell to it, even after i brush and mouthwash. Its like tinned sweetcorn in a way, but i have been taking ibuprofen due to a recent operation i had and i hear that, that can have a effect. I havnt noticed much of the other symptoms apart from i do have blurry vision from time to time, but my eyes just water a lot, but i’m still worried i have type 2 diabetes because both my nan and grandad have it and i often eat junk food, do you think i have it or am i just over thinking? I am going to the doctor, next monday but i havnt told my mum the reason just said i wanted to go and check i didnt need anymore jabs or anything (im very independant btw :L) but also the only thing stopping me from going completly wack about it is the fact, i read that the sufferes are USUALLY either overweight, over 40, do not do a lot of excerise ect, non of which are particulary like me. please just give me your opinion on what you think

My boyfriend is diabetic and sometimes he loses his meter. We were discussing glucagon and his shot today, because my doctor thinks (neither of us are convinced) that I am a diabetic, so he told me to watch my diet and gave me a glucagon shot. I was wondering what would happen if someone were to pass out with high blood sugars or just from heat or something, have it mistaken for a hypo attack, and they were given the glucagon shot? Is this dangerous? I don’t want to hurt my boyfriend if he passes out from high sugars, or has one of his seizures, and i give him his shot, mistaking the signs for hypo because i can’t find his meter.
His sugars are very well controlled right now, but he does have seizures sometimes. What can happen if his sugars are normal (let’s say 110-140) and i give him the shot thinking he’s hypo? I’m REALLY scared about this!!
