To test for pregnancy.

I have an appointment set up for 2:15pm today and I’m not sure if they are having me take a urine test, blood test or both.

I just thought I’d figure this all out before the holidays this week.

How long did it take you to get the results back?

can you get hyperglycemia without having diabetes?

It does reduce my cholesterol, but it also has serious side effects, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I am going to ask my doctor to change the medication for another.

Can you just walk into a shop and buy a glucose meter or do you need a prescription or something from the doctor?

The cut off is 135 and I got 136 but all my blood work was perfect. Do you think she will make me retake the 3 hour test or can I request to take the hour test again and fast?

I have hypoglycemia along with a never ending list of other conditions and need to find a book or place on the web that can give me recipes and meal plans for hypoglycemia. I know supposedly diabetic meals will work for hypoglycemia but i am still a little leerily. I am married, in college and working and going back and forth to the doctor so i don’t have alot of time to plan out meals myself. If anyone knows any places on the web with meals and recipes catering specifically to hypoglycemia i would appreciate the knowledge.

I am doing research for a project aimed at helping diabetics who use disposable pen type insulin syringes to better manage their disease and I’m having finding this specific data online. I would specifically like to know which pen models are sold in which quantities in different markets (countries).

I have polycystic ovaries, but not the syndrome. All that’s missing is ovulation – no acne, no body hair, no oily skin, no high blood sugar. I am overweight, but women who weigh more than me are getting pregnant all the time. I want an alternative. Glucophage makes me SICK, so I don’t feel like getting jiggy, which is bad when you are trying to get pregnant.

i was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last friday ! i have to wait til thursday to find out what the doctor is going to do, can someone tell me what the first steps are of what you do when you have diabetes and when u visit the doctor??! xxx

I have type 2 diabetes for last 9 years…. the dryness of skin and the itch is very bad… even though my sugar is rarely out of control…. my limbs are senstive… any one with similar experience and how do u deal with it??/

We live slightly better then pay check to pay check. We have a mortgage + a 2 year old car we’re paying off, credit cards and living expenses. My BF might be, at this time it is 99% accurate, his job this week. Very very unexpected.
He is diabetic takes 2 insulin + test strips very expensive, mortgage, car, food. August 8th we had a small wedding planned, less then $ 4,000. I paid dress, purse + shoes only $ 71- so no lose there. I am under contract with DJ, fine I have money set aside to pay him. Same with priest. But wedding will be canceled. Thank god I have time to cancel restaurant. We can go to city hall, that’s fine.
But how do we live on one pay check that does not cover all our living expenses ? I can’t benefit with the new lower interest rates on house because I have a mobil home, double wide with 3/4 acre property but my bank won’t refinance a mobil home.
My best friend of 20 years, has a 9 yr old child, has brain cancer- they gave her only 4 – 8 weeks to live. Nothing is going right, everything is falling apart and I don’t know what to do. I can afford my next car payment and bills but shortly after that, that’s it and I don’t know how to get by.

How do you survive ?
my parents + father in law are deseased, Mom in law has small apt, my house is small. I can’t rent out my house because private community doesn’t allow it.

I found out I was diabetic. I need ideas for healthy sauces to pour over food for flavoring since drowning food in butter is out.

Since about a week ago, the back of both of my eyes have had some aches in them randomly throughout the day. It’s not constant, but it happens about 3-5 times a day, and lasts for about 30seconds to 1 minute.

Also, my eyes get a little blurry sometimes, and sometimes it’d hurt when I looked up or down (especially up).

Yesterday, I went to my doctor about it and he send me off for a blood test, and I was tested for my Iron, Blood Count, Blood Sugar, and some other stuff.
I also seen an Optition who tested the eye pressure in my eyes (I think Glaucoma).

Both of those tests turned out perfectly fine. Except my eyes are a little blurry, and she suggest that I’d get glasses to see far away things, like the chalk board at school.

I’m a 14 year old female by the way.

I also had some tiredness with this, and I could fall asleep whenever I want, but I’m not sure if it had anything at all to do with this. I wasn’t tired when I’m active, just when I’m bored or lying there.

Do you have any suggestions for what this might me? I’m a bit worried (I have a HUGE fear of losing my vision and becoming blind).
