I’ve read that not changing the code to match the vial with the onetouch ultra glucometer results in inaccurate readings. Why? In what way are the readings inaccurate (too high, too low, every reading is inaccurate or random readings are inaccurate?) Anyone know?

Can you use any precision strips on a Abbott Precision Xtra Blood Glusose meter? I only have Precision Plus strips

I want to know if test strips of separate brands can be used with each other. Like, say I use a Freestyle Lite device, and I want to use test strips from another brand. Is this possible at all?

I have had two lots of test strips giving inaccurate reading in the past 5 months. Most recent, last week I tested blood sugar one lot result was 154 thinking it should be lower I checked with test strip from different lot it was 124. I had two different lots of test strips on hand because my wife had just had my prescription filled.
