There are so many supliments and very few have any reviews beyond the ones on there sales site. I’m looking for info in a non bias form. I’m pretty sure others will benefit from this info also.

Is anxiety a typical symptom of someone who as Type 1 diabetes. Its not real strong anxiety attacks, but it is enough to make life trying. Its not just mental. I can feel my body actually trembling. Its there for a few days and then its gone for a while.I take xanax. Is there a better med or natural cure.

im a junior in highschool and have a bright future, however this disease is holding me back…im an ace pitcher for my varsity team, but im looking for some structure to stay healthy with a food plan….also does ne one know if i can use the insulin of my type 1 diabetes to gain muscle….and can i use supplements such as creatine no explode and all that

I was reading Dr. Barnard’s book about becoming totally vegan and then eating all the good carbs all you want. But everything else seems to indicate you need to eat very few carbs and plenty of lean meats, all in small portions. What’s the deal? I am on the high end of normal, bordering pre-diabetes (after gestational diabetes). Trying to stay “normal.”

is there any news or information about a cure for diabetes. obviously theres treatment, but no cures as of yet. is there some kind of government funding for the cure in places.

also, can anybody explain why it is difficult to cure or why they havent cured it yet?

Just a little background: The vet said his glucose is at 600, which was the highest they had ever seen. He is 10 yrs old. The vet would like him to have 2 units of insulin 2x's/day. I am looking for anything that will help lower costs and will keep me from having to euthanize him. Please if you have ANY suggestions, let me know! I am desperate! thank you.
The insulin he needs is Humulin. The vet expected the cost to be aprox. 0/bottle and he would need aprox. 2/month.

This group of scientists claim that they have found a miracle medical breakthrough with the discovery of some sort of natural nutrient combination that cures diabetes in 6 weeks. Do these guys have any credability? If they do, how come more people don't know about it?

My mother has a heart disease on top of diabetes and is trying to find a diet that suites her. She is on different medications that disable her from eating certain things or how much she eats of it…if anyone can help with a good diet please let me know.

I've been cleared by the doc for the program but is there anything anyone can recommend with the diet plan who has diabetes and followed the routine? So far I'm only taking metformin once a day. I found out about it 2 mo ago and pray I can get off it altogether with P90x.

I started a running and vigorious work-out program but needs a long time to recover. Recently I even experienced episodes of dizziness and I noticed that I’ve unintentionally lost some weight. I’ve been lean so I don’t want to lose weight by exercise. How can I supplement my diet, which is usually healthy but doesn’t include enough protein and starchy food? I started Boost High Protein drink but not sure if it’s good for me, given the fact that I have to control sugar intake to prevent diabetes.
