Is there really natural diabetes cure?   Can diabetes symptoms be controlled by what is called a diabetes diet?  And if there isn’t a diabetes cure is diabetes something that we just have to live with and try to manage the symptoms with diabetes medications?

Can we keep our glucose level normal and treat diabetes naturally and control blood sugar naturally with lifestyle and diabetic diets or is it inevitable that one day we will have to suffer symptoms of type 1 or type 2 diabetes?

There is enough evidence to suggest that diabetes symptoms can be greatly alleviated by dietary changes and diabetics could better regulate their blood sugar levels through diet and exercise.  Some anti-aging studies done have shown that even insulin-dependent diabetics could get off insulin and find a new way to process the disease with a healthy more natural approach.

Instead of looking for a specific pill or potion that cures diabetes, why not look to reversing and preventing high glucose levels and to repair the damage that has been done through poor dietary habits and to keep the blood glucose normal.  If it has been proven through science that we can control cholesterol levels and improve cardio-vascular health by changing our diet and adding exercise to our daily lives, it can also be the case that we can keep from having our blood glucose high by altering our lifestyle and diet as well.

Studies have shown that there are benefits to adding supplements to the diet

including certain nutrients and herbs.  Ginseng was shown in certain studies

to improve diabetes.  In a study of non insulin dependent diabetics, intake of

100 to 200 mg. per day of ginseng for eight weeks reduced fasting glucose and body weight.  Ginseng added to the diet is just one of several instances of an herbal approach to preventing having your blood glucose high.

Believe it or not, but legumes, or beans, are excellent and amazing insulin regulators.  Because beans and peas produce such slow rises in blood sugar,

the body needs to release very little insulin to control glucose.  Beans, along

with other foods high in pectins and gums, actually cause the creation of more insulin-receptor sites on cells, giving insulin more places to enter the individual cells rather than circulating in the system.

Aloe has also been considered by many to be a miracle plant with many healing

properties for thousands of years.  A traditional remedy for diabetes in the Arabian

peninsula, several peer review studies indicate aloe may indeed be an effective treatment for symptoms associated with the disease.  In one, results showed the intake of half a teaspoon of aloe daily for four to fourteen weeks significantly reduced the fasting serum glucose level in all patients.  Another study found that

five non insulin dependent diabetics experienced a mean reduction in fasting blood sugar of 273 to 151 mg/dl following fourteen weeks of taking a half teaspoon four times a day of aloe.  Cinnamon has also been known to naturally aid in the

keeping the blood glucose normal.

Another nutrient that could be very important with achieving normal blood sugar levels is Chromium.  One study concluded that the administration of 200 micrograms of chromium in healthy subjects significantly reduced ninety-minute

glucose concentrations and fasting glucose concentrations.  Doses of 200 micrograms of chromium alleviated hypoglycemic symptoms and significantly increased minimum serum glucose levels seen just two to four hours after a glucose load in female hypoglycemic patients.

In general, to summarize, there are numerous ways we can reduce and control diabetes glucose levels by adding supplements and changing the way we eat

to give our bodies a fighting chance to stave off the signs of age-related diseases such as diabetes.  There is enough evidence in medicine and science to show

this to be the case and you do have options besides simply becoming dependent upon insulin or other medications to control and treat diabetes.
